Covering Deal and the surrounding areas, Hella's Happy Hounds ® provides a fully licenced and vet approved dog boarding service at our home which is a great alternative to kennels. We have been awarded 5 stars by Dover District Council. We normally only accept one or two dogs at any one time so that your dog can continue to receive all the individual care and attention it needs while you are away. Our home visit service also means that whenever you can't be with them, you can trust us to give your pet the food and company they need.
My name is Suzie and I run Hella's Happy Hounds ®. I have been a pet lover all my life and have always shared my home with dogs and cats. I could not imagine a life without them!
On coming to live in the lovely town of Deal with my husband I was amazed to see how many dogs were out and about with their owners, especially along the seafront, and this inspired me to fulfil my lifelong ambition to set up my own dog boarding business. My sole aim is to ensure that I can give animals the best possible care at all times and what better place than along the beautiful Kent coast.
Previously, I was a charity shop manager. What always made my day was when customers used to bring in their dogs into the shop to say hello. I also worked for a leading pet shop business where I learned all about the importance of high quality pet nutrition and animal welfare.
I am fully insured, DBS checked, and can provide references. I also have a 5 star dog boarding licence from Dover District Council, (Licence Number LN/000006169).

Our Opening Hours
We operate all year round:
January to December - 9am to 5pm (for dog walks and dog daycare)
We are closed at Christmas, for annual leave, and normally, on Bank Holidays.
